Visa information
Australian passport holders do not need a visa to enter Australia. New Zealand citizens with a valid New Zealand passport do not need to apply for a visa before coming to Australia; more information is available here: entry requirements for New Zealand Citizens.
All other passport holders need the correct visa to enter Australia. You will need to obtain your Visa BEFORE you travel to Australia.

Entering Australia
When you enter Australia, you need to show us your travel documents or passport. Your visa is electronically attached to the passport you used on your visa application. Make sure you bring a current, valid passport or travel document and any expired passports or travel documents linked to your visa.

Domestic Arrivals
Baggage Claim
When you arrive on a domestic flight, you’ll disembark via the passenger boarding bridge into the terminal on Level 2. If you need a wheelchair or other assistance, please let your airline know before your flight. [View airline contact details].
Once inside the terminal, head to baggage reclaim on the ground floor to collect your luggage.
International Arrivals
Customs
To clear the Department of Immigration and Border Protection checkpoint, you’ll need to:
- Complete and submit an incoming passenger card.
- Present your passport and visa (if applicable).
Baggage Claim
International passengers will disembark via the passenger boarding bridge into the terminal on Level 1. After passport control at Immigration, proceed to baggage reclaim on the ground floor.
Currency exchange
Travelex stores are located on the Ground Floor near International Arrivals and Level 2 after Security. ATMs are conveniently located throughout the terminal, including near the Seed store on Level 2, at the baggage carousel in International Arrivals, and after Duty Free Departures on Level 2.
Accommodation
