The Richard Scolyer Charity Fun Run and Walk is a signature event of the 2027 IAP-AUS Annual Scientific Meeting.

The event is held in honour of Professor Richard Scolyer AO, former Australian of the Year, internationally renowned pathologist, melanoma researcher, and one of Australia’s most respected medical scientists. Professor Scolyer’s extraordinary contributions to pathology, cancer research, medical education, and patient care have had a profound impact both nationally and internationally.

Open to delegates, industry partners, and members of the public, the event recognises the remarkable achievements and ongoing legacy of one of Australia’s most influential pathologists and in 2027 will raise funds for The Australian and New Zealand Head and Neck Cancer Society.
